DIY - Knotted Bracelet

Image
This is a really fun and easy bracelet for you to make at home this summer! All you need is: Embroidery Thread ( a few colours preferably) Button (Optional) Tape or Clipboard (Something to hold it in place) To start you want to cut your threads into the right size, you can change this according to the amount of colours and width you'd like to use. You will need at least 6 strands of thread (3 if you're doing a button closure as this will loop over to form 6 strands). Each strand should be around 50 inches long, can be 25 inches if not doing a button closure. Now that you have your chosen strings all cut to length (I used 4 different colours in my example). Read this tutorial to know exactly how to begin off your bracelet and the closures ( http://randomjoshyt.blogspot.com/2017/06/diy-friendship-bracelet-closures.html ). Underneath the knot you have made from beginning your bracelet, you will want to start off by choosing one of the colours y

Gone Series Book Review

Image
Looking for a fun and thrilling Young Adult book? Then the Gone series may just be the series for you! With the imaginative story line and character development. The series consists of 6 books, each identifying a specific issue with survival for the young kids of the FAYZ (Fallout Ally Youth Zone). Following the story from Sam, Astrid and the rest of the gang really left you in the edge of your seat, hungry to know more about exactly what is coming for them next. Michael Grant's clever word play worked brilliantly with this series, aiming it at the younger generation, giving them a story of so much emotion, from the happiest to the most fearful and the saddest moments.  From the moment I started reading this series, I fell in love with every aspect of it, from the quirky powers and mutations that they had, to the character development of each of the characters. As soon as I reached the end of the last book, I was waiting to continue, only to realise that that was it for

Pride in London 2017!

Image
Hey there guys! So as many of you may know, I attended Pride in London this weekend! I took along two of my good friends with me, we had such an awesome time partying with the LGBT+ community! There was so much love and happiness throughout the entire event, so I was super proud to be a part of it! Here are some of the photos we got from the event, we didn't get to take too many as we were filming a lot and dancing also! I was fashioning a lovely hand made tie dye top which was from one of my original videos ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vRoEfv9162Y ). I also used some lovely hair chalks which I brought from amazon, ( B Uniq Non-Toxic Temporary Hair Chalks Set - Great For Dress Up, Performance Costumes and Create A Funky Look for Children and Teens. Bundle Includes 24 Non Toxic Temporary Hair Chalks ) which gave an amazing colour pay-off, especially seeing as my hair is only highlighted, so the blonde bits came off a lot bolder than the darker sections, h

DIY - Friendship Bracelet Closures

Image
Making friendship bracelets can be super fun! But often how exactly do you finish them? I will be going over the two main ways to finish off your awesome bracelet designs and which methods work best for which situations. The first method I will talk about is the generic closure, this is essentially the type that means the bracelet is knotted to the individual and so can only be removed by cutting it. This is the more traditional type of closure, as it is meant to symbolise the bond between two friends, so if the bracelet is cut off, the friendship is over. It is super easy to achieve, you simply start your bracelet with double the amount of strings but in half the length (You can find this information on each of the separate bracelets). You will then create a simple knot to begin the bracelet, but make sure you leave enough room for the end bracelet to be tied together. Once you have finished the design you have gone with, simply tie another knot to seal it and leave a decent

This is a really fun and easy bracelet for you to make at home this summer! You will need at least 3 strands of thread (You can double this up to make the colour stand out a lot more, also will help with button closures). Each strand should be around 50 inches long, can be 25 inches if not doing a button closure. You will begin by using one of the closure methods, which is detailed in this tutorial here for you ( http://randomjoshyt.blogspot.com/2017/07/diy-friendship-bracelet-closures.html ) Now to begin the actual design side of the bracelet, you will simply need to take your three or more colours and separate them out according to colour. You essentially want to do a very sim

Elizavecca Carbonated Bubble Mask Review

Image
Hey there guys! As you may be aware, I have actually done a review of this mask before on my YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p08xl5KFefU) along with two of my friends. It was a little bit of a mess, so I thought I would sit down and do a proper review of the mask and give it a good chance! This mask is a clay mask, which slowly will foam up on the face which is said to help cleanse the skin from toxins and leave it feeling hydrated and smooth. The mask retails on Amazon for £5 you can get it here  http://amzn.to/2sgZmAg The steps are pretty simple, just apply the mask on unclean or clean skin, but do so as quick as possible, the effects are really quick! You should also ensure that you close the tub after use as it will oxidize it before you put it on your face and ruin the remaining product! You can then leave it to foam up for the next 5 minutes, then once thats up you can pat the foam down, and rub the mask in again and it can foam up for a se
